In this workshop, you will learn how to create your own 3D models with Autodesk Fusion - with a focus on models that can be produced with the CNC milling machine. We will also teach you the basics of parametric modeling so that you can flexibly adapt your models.

This workshop forms the basis for Workshop 2: CAM preparation with Fusion

In this workshop, you will learn how to create the right CAM milling data from your CAD models in Autodesk Fusion. We will show you how to plan toolpaths and prepare the data for the CNC milling machine. We will cover various machining strategies, such as contours, pockets and adaptive clearing, and help you to find the best settings for your projects. Previous knowledge of Fusion 360 is helpful, but not required.

This workshop forms the basis for Workshop 3: Machine Instruction 'Sailormoon'
Duration: 2-4 hours
Costs: 20-40€ for members / 45€ for external participants

In this workshop, you will learn how to run your own CAM programs on our Sailormoon CNC milling machine. We will show you how to work safely and efficiently with the vacuum table, the milling cutter library, the extraction system, homing and more.
⚠️ For club members only! Previous CAM knowledge required.
Successful participation is based on the driver's license principle and is considered proof of your CNC skills within the club. It is a prerequisite for being allowed to use the milling machine independently - similar to the sliding table saw.
